It is my hope that this weekly Blog will challenge you, encourage you and enhance your spiritual convictions.</em><br /><br /><em></em><br /><br /><em><strong>Weekly Bible Verse</strong></em><br /><br /><em><strong>But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. ~Psalm 73:28</strong></em><br /><br /><em></em><br /><br /><em>Soft blankets, hot chocolate fresh off the stove with tons of fat marshmallows and lots of laughter; when I think back to the long winter evenings of my childhood these are the images that come to mind. My initial thoughts are not the style of house, what I wore to school or how many friends I had. My mind drifts to the warmth and security of home.</em><br /><br /><em></em><br /><br /><em>As an adult there have been times and are still times when I can get so caught up in the next big thing and loose sight of the little things in life. I tend to become anxious and worried about schedules, finances, career, etc. It is during these times that I turn to God in prayer, seeking the peace and comfort of his embrace, and just as the blanket and hot chocolate did on those long ago evenings of my childhood I am able to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures he has surrounded me with.</em><br /><br /><em></em><br /><br /><em><strong>Reflection</strong></em><br /><br /><em><strong>1.
